The Streets' Mike Skinner has announced a new four-week residency at London club XOYO, which will see him play each Friday in March.
The latest name to grace the venue's residency programme, the news will go some way to making up for the cancellation of a planned tour by The Streets this year.
In December it was announced all dates were being pulled as a result of concerns surrounding the omicron coronavirus variant. The shows were to support 2021's album, 'The Streets', released under the alias, The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light.
Confirming the new XOYO plan, Skinner posted a poster for the four shows to Instagram. The sci-fi imagery features pictures of him in a number of situations, including one rendering the DJ, producer, and MC as one of Saturn's moons. The giant ringed planet is seen in the distance, with a lunar landscape in the foreground.
XOYO's sister club, Phonox, also runs a month-long residency programme. Earlier in January, jungle purveyor SHERELLE was confirmed as the next name to take up the post.
